Jon serves as managing partner of the firm. His practice focuses on employment and business law, and matters pertaining to transportation law, real estate and estate planning. He offers proactive counsel to help employers avoid employer/employee disputes. He reviews policies and programs to ensure they are clear and comprehensive, and advises on implementing or modifying policies to keep abreast of the changing legal regulations governing the work environment. Jon is experienced in preparing many types of agreements necessary to the proper management of employees, such as employment contracts, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements.

Jon’s work in the area of transportation law includes representation of several railroads on a variety of business, property and litigation matters.

An active board member for such organizations as United Way of Lane County and the Girl Scouts of Western Rivers Council, Jon currently serves in the community as president of the Sheldon High School Booster Club.
