Parenting Now! Oregon Parenting and Education Support Conference '08
April 28 & 29 - Hilton Eugene & Conference Center
Parenting Now!, a division of Birth to Three, is hosting their annual Parenting and Education Support Conference, a networking opportunity which brings together professionals who work with families to share ideas and information. This conference is targeted to anyone working with children and families, including educators, health professionals, and child and family service providers. CASA Champions for Children Walk/Run
May 3, 8:30 a.m. - Marist High School
Walkers and runners of all levels and experience are encouraged to join the CASA Champions for Children Walk/Run on Saturday, May 3. They are hoping to have every child in foster care in Lane County represented at the race, with each walker or runner wearing a race bib with the name and age of a child in foster care. Matt Templeman, from KMTR, will be the "celebrity host" of the event, and Brandi Smith from KEZI will also be there with a film crew. 2008 Western Benefits Conference “The Best of Both Worlds”
July 13 – 16 – Seattle Sheraton and the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, Seattle WA
The 2008 Western Benefits Conference is a joint conference, combining the ASPPA Summer Meeting and the Western Pension & Benefits Conference Annual Meeting into one, and has been designed with all retirement, health, welfare and benefits professionals in mind. This conference offers an ideal opportunity for dialogue with nationally renowned speakers as well as national and local government representatives. Private sector experts and government officials will share their knowledge and skills, and solicit your input on a variety of issues.
